Splodge

Confidence level 2

You’ve got to love a slow cooker recipe, especially one where you just chuck it all in
and forget about it for a few hours.

This mincemeat sauce can be used in lots of different meals including cottage pie, ‘bolognese’ and chilli con carne.

After watching Gino DeCampo cooking an authentic bolognese on This Morning, I was
very careful to clarify that this was NOT a bolognese. GINO, GINO, GINO!

Instead I’ve named it after what my Dad would have called it and that was SPLODGE!
