Sometimes you just have to hold your hands up and say “That was blooody awful!”
I’m not going to lie, this was an experiment and after tasting it, I think its safe to say that I won’t be trying it again, haha. After a bit of persuasion the boys did have some and it WAS a sugar free cake but it just wasn’t birthdayish enough.
Can’t cook mum strikes again. Here’s some links to some sugar free cakes that actually look quite nice. OOPS!
For the cake:
♡ Melt 150g butter with 4tbs maple syrup
♡Add 150g self-raising flour and 75g cocoa powder
♡ Add 3 large beaten eggs and mix.
♡ Pour into an 8inch pre-greased cake tin.
♡ Cook at 180°C for 25-30 mins
For the topping:
♡Whisk 180g cream cheese with 1tsp of vanilla paste, 1tbs of maple syrup and a handful of blended fruits.
♡ Decorate and let the babies enjoy.
♡Go to the shops and get YOURSELF a delicious treat!!!!!
